Alasdair Nottingham is the Lead Architect on Open Liberty, the open source implementation of Jakarta EE and Eclipse MicroProfile from IBM. He has been working on Java and Java EE, Jakarta EE, and MicroProfile for a long time (perhaps too long), always focussed on how to build a better, leaner, faster runtime.
