Starting as an Avionics Engineering Technician Apprentice in the Royal Air Force, the following decade was full of life changing experiences and opportunities to learn and grow. Living all over the UK and travelling around the world provided insight into technology and people. When it was time to change, those experiences and education allowed the transition into technology design with a focus in avionics and military.

The following 7 years brought opportunity to develop as a systems thinker working through different challenges to become a member of the highly regarded research organisation at GE Aviation. During Covid-19, another opportunity presented itself to join BAE Systems Applied Intelligence to move away from aviation and work on deployed technologies supporting the Royal Navy’s surface fleet. As that project wound down the next opportunity was presented to focus on enhancing deployed military capabilities with data and AI technologies. As an experienced engineer with a focus on systems design and military technologies, I lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, with accountability for design assurance, product design and technical leadership.

Outside of work I am a keen musician and play in a number of bands in my free time
