Geert Bevin

Geert Bevin is the director of software development at Moog Music and has created all of Moog's iOS apps, software plugins, and the first Vision Pro spatial synthesizer: Animoog Galaxy. Geert also runs his own company, Uwyn. He has been an active member of the Java community for 30 years and was one of the first Java Champions. Geert has contributed to many open source projects, including the RIFE web framework that first introduced continuations to Java in 2006 and has recently been reimagined as RIFE2. While working on RIFE2, Geert created the bld pure Java build tool. Geert is also a passionate musician, product designer, creator, 3D modeler and 3D printing afficianado. Geert loves motorcycles, martial arts and long walks on the beach, but he lives in the Appalachian mountains, so the walks are shorter and more vertical, but just as much fun.
